Inspired by Another Country's Series One furniture range, the collection employs different clay bodies with different properties for each vessel and use. This pitcher is slip cast and made of Terracotta which has been fired to an unconventionally high temperature that vitrifies the body of the clay giving it the strength of stoneware and achieving the scorched colour.

Giveaway - Win een Schenkkan van Another Country
Vandaag een prachtige giveaway van Another Country. Another Country produceert moderne ambachtelijke meubels en accessoires. De ontwerpen zijn archetypisch met kenmerken van de Britse Country stijl, Shaker, traditionele Scandinavische en Japanse houtsnijwerken fungeren veelal als inspiratiebron.
Another Country wil een nieuwe interpretatie van de functionaliteit en uitstraling van deze traditionele meubelstukken ontwikkelen voor de nieuwe moderne klant.
De giveaway van vandaag is een schenkkan van de Another Country Pottery Series
Geïnspireerd door de Series One meubel collectie is deze handgemaakte strak gevormde aardewerk tafel set. Elk item met een eigen klei vorm, afmeting en functie. De schenkkan is vervaardigd uit een mal en gemaakt van Terracotta welke wordt gebakken in een oven op een onconventionele hoge temperatuur om de vorm vast te zetten en te verharden zodat het net zo sterk word als aardewerk en tevens om de donkere gebrande kleur te bereiken.
