blue 02 + blue 07 + blue 12

I got a huge pile of really old magazines from a friend the other day.. and flipping through them I wondered what it is with the color blue.... I had just bought the Elle UK Decoration that had a big blue section. VT Wonen added a lovely Style guide to one of their latest issues with examples on how to use blue into your home. And there I was with a pile of magazines from 2002 talking about Blue... and another from 2007 talking about blue.

For me blue says definitely summer, sun, holidays and good memories of far away places. It is the color that always return every spring throughout my whole life. {See here last years post} And now I am wondering if Blue returns into the magazines every year as well around this time? Is it always there or a returning theme every few years??

I am adding some new blues into my hallway at the moment by filling a little part of the wall with frames and pictures. How about you.... are you dreaming of summer already?
